Recently I had an opportunity to interact with a group from Mangalore.Out of curiosity I asked them about corruption in public life and about the recent Pub attack there. The reply to corruption was generally yes and more so in the office goers of PSUs. They disapproved and are against the vulgarity in pubs and hegitantly disapproved the assult.Again they expressed their anger for in-equality in treatment of crimes on the basis of religion. Also they emphasized that the incident was blown out of proportion for vested interest of some groups. I concluded that the locals are against vulgarity on the name of recreation. But whatever happened affected health of persons insome way or other. Do you agree?
