Go for red wine ?Recently many reports are coming in from researchers highlighting the advantages of wine.The skin of grapes contains resveratrol and seed contains proanthrocynidins which have antioxidant properties ,so could influence lipid metabolism.Grapes especially the dark variety have the potential to lessen heart attacks.
Should somebody draw the conclusion that drinking wine is good and start it for these benefits ? I think from Indian context neither grapes nor wine is affordable to the mass who struggle to get food twice a day. It is not that India is very poor to fulfill food demand.One main factor is accumulation of money in the hand of a few by whatever means may be and the second important aspect being lazy mind of people.
But whether affluent or not why one should not take natural balanced diet by addition of green vegatable and fruits ? Where some body is already habituated to drinking, may go for wine . At any rate alcohol is alcohol and food is preferable to wine/ alcohol.
